Who are we at Long-Term CareWorks?
We're dedicated to offering CNA training at zero cost to you, aiding in your OSBN CNA licensing exam, and securing full-time employment at a long-term care facility.
What exactly is a CNA?
A Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, is a licensed professional providing essential support in daily activities such as bathing, eating, and mobility. This role significantly influences individuals' physical health, mental well-being, and overall independence.
Licensed CNAs start at a base pay of $19 /hr, with avenues for advancement.
What's an apprenticeship and what's the schedule like?
Through our CNA Apprenticeship, you'll receive comprehensive training and guidance to kickstart your career in a skilled nursing facility, alongside mentorship to foster your progression in the long-term care sector. Join fellow apprentices for hands-on learning experiences in a supportive environment.

- 5 weeks of in-person training
- Guaranteed job placement at a union-represented long-term care facility post-training
- Assistance in passing the Oregon State Board of Nursing CNA licensing exam
- Ongoing career mentorship and support
Our program offers wraparound supports including paying for exam/fingerprinting fees(which total over $150), a shoe stipend to buy slip resistant shoes($80 credit provided), scrubs provided($60 reimbursement), child-care costs, transportation support, and more.
All of our apprentices are also eligible for great health care through the Essential Worker Healthcare Trust as soon as they are considered full-time by their assigned partner facility!

Shifts are available from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, including weekends.
